Rihanna finishes up a strong year by signing on as Creative Director of Puma. The news was revealed when the pop star visited the Puma headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany for her first creative session with the design team. She will begin her role officially in January next year.

The company said that she will be a part of Puma’s fitness and training line, which includes apparel as well as shoes. The star will “design and customize classic Puma styles and create new styles to add to the Puma product portfolio.”

Rihanna will also act as the company’s global brand ambassador and  front Puma’s ad campaign for fall 2015.

In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, she said that she thinks about her childhood when when she hears Puma. “Some of the first sneakers I owned were Puma, and I wore them to death, until they had holes in them” the singer said. She also alluded to the album will be released in 2015.

Seems like a great fit. I can’t wait to see what the bad gal has in store !
