First up in Rihanna News and Speculation, songwriter Sia, still in her album rollout for her project This Is Acting, released another (“Cheap Thrills“) Ri-ject entitled “Reaper” – a catchy tune she co-wrote and co-produced with Kanye West (Anti’s Exec-producer). Listen below.

Rejected songs aside, snippets of an upcoming Rihanna collaboration with Drake has made its way to the internets. Complex reports that Ri and Drizzy – who collaborated in the past with “What’s My Name” and “Take Care” – were in Los Angeles for a video shoot for the song “Work.”Listen below to the snippets of the dancehall-inspired ditty that surfaced on Twitter. Finally, music mogul L.A. Reid shared a excerpt from his new memoir with Billboard about the first time he met Rihanna. Revealing how the label originally thought Tierra Marie would be the bigger star, he said that a bell went of for him after Beyoncé came up to him after a showcase and said, “That Rihanna girl, she’s a beast.” Read the full excerpt here.
